Joao Vancelo and Joao Felix signing with Barcelona
For Barcelona fans, who have been waiting impatiently for their team to finalize the signings of Joao Cancelo and Joao Felix from Manchester City and Atletico Madrid, respectively, the past few days have been especially lengthy.
The deals had recently been delayed by Barcelona's financial problems, but it now seems that they have been given permission to finish both operations.
Cancelo's entry had been questioned because Bayern Munich had entered the competition to recruit the 29-year-old, but numerous sources have stated that Man City had approved Barcelona's move.
The news that Barcelona and Atletico Madrid had reached an agreement to sign Felix for the 2023–24 season remains to be believed, which will please Barca President Joan Laporta, who has been the catalyst for the Catalan club's interest.
With these additions, Barcelona's transfer business is probably finished for new players. There may be more departures; Ez Abde is one of those who is likely to leave before the cutoff.
